Back on track I’ll answer the actual question, I too have very nice facilities at the marina…but my beautiful slip.
Is about 300 yards to the facilities.
So when it’s cold (under 50 for me) or rainy I shower on the boat with great success. Only big drawback is the marina shuts off/winterizes the dock water from 12/01 to 03/21 so have to watch the consumption, being retired Navy it’s easy for me, not so much for the Queen. Great thing about living 10min away, she goes home and then comes back. I have a 5GL water cooler bottle that I always fill and take with me when I go to the boat during these times, so far all is good, gets the ooze off the body and a quick wipe down with the dedicated head towel and it’s ready for the next customer.
