Electrical issues

I had the same issue with my pump on a 98 290. Was that the pump went bad and would pop fuse after i turned it on. Replaced pump and problem fixed
Thanks. That's what I am planning to do. Ordered the pump, will try to replace this Friday.

No I’m set up poorly. One for starboard trim pump.( I know ) one for generator. 4 house batteries my motors are hooked to plus my inverter. I know it’s wrong but it was fine last fall. Don’t laugh
Dutton - Remove, clean and replace all of your grounds. Starting with the house battery(s) and following the wires. Both your power (+) leads and your grounds must be clean and tight. Take them off at each connection and clean them. Visually looks good isn't always so. Cannot count the times I helped friends with the same issue, it is always poor and/or loose connections, especially after winter layup. Just did one last Friday. Dirty grounds at the battery grounding junction. Cleaned them up and good to go.
