Filling old carpet snap holes

Prepping for an install of EVA foam in my Sundancer cockpit and I need to fill the old screw holes for the carpet snaps. The holes go all the way through, and some are in areas that I can’t access underneath

Should I just get Marine Tek, smush it in and leave a little bubble on top and sand it down after it hardens? Just use white caulk since I’ll be covering it with the new flooring? Anyone done this?

I filled the snap holes with epoxy before installing Plasdek.

Marine Tex. You should be able to get it flush enough to not have to sand.

I haven't heard of or used MarineText since the late 70s when my dad was rebuilding a wooden sailboat and put that stuff everywhere.

I took blue painters tape and punched holes in it with a hole punch. The round circles are perfect diameter. Carefully filled with Marine Tex and smooth with a Q tip. You can hardly see where the are and covered with carpet anyway.
