Wow, @Blueone BTW, where is the Harrisville where they found the Keystone State?
Harrisville, MI sits on the shore of Lake Huron at Latitude 44.6564 and longitude -83.2947, between Oscoda and Alpena.
Now if you have time for a tale from my high school years, I spent 2 weeks on about a 35' Matthews as guest of a friend and his parents. (We lived in Saginaw at the time). They kept their boat "Hester M" in the Saginaw Bay Yacht Club marina in Bay City. We were headed up the coast of MI to Alpena then across the lake to the North Channel and Georgian Bay and back.
We overnighted in Harrisville and, being the two devilish high school boys that we were, my friend "Drew" and I took off for town to see what trouble we could get into. It didn't take long.
We hit upon two high school girls who lived in town and when I say "hit upon" that's exactly what I mean. They took us to a local park where we got to know them better. Much better. After an hour or two they both had to head for home, so Drew and I headed back to the boat. To the best of my knowledge there are no little "Mikies" running around Harrisville.
