Gauges working Sporadically

Team: Have a 2003 480 Sedan Bridge with QSM11's. Searay helm Engine gauges
are taking longer and longer to power up when ignition is switched on. Sometimes
several minutes, sometimes not until much later. Is there a "Control" module or other that controls this?

My 4 in 1 gauges won't come on at all. Is this related?? My Cummins ED-4 digital gauges work but not my 4 in 1. Help!

Chech to make sure all of you connections are clean n tight. A little corrosion can cause this. As the corrosion builds, the problems gets worse

Thanks Korkie. Which connections? There are 2 grey boxes under the dash with 2 plugs coming out of each. Those??

No. The connections to your ignition switches on your helm, the breakers and key switches in your electric panel, all the battery connections, alternator connections, ground connections on the motors and power connections at the starter solenoid. Do every else b4 the solenoid as they are a pain to get to. The rest should be easy. Make sure all power is off when you do this to avert shorting something out. Do one wire at a time. Remove, clean and reattach making sure tight.

Also likely a bad MMDC module, same not available, can switch to analog gauges but costly and a lot of work.

Believe that the QSM11 engines in fact have sensors that show resistance to ground for Oil Pressure/Temperature.in addition to sensors that go to ground for fault purposes. Believe injector control is not based on Oil Pressure or Temperature. The engines talk to the MMDC via NEMA from their ECM the MMDC converts that data and the raw resistance from the fuel tank senders to the three wire"CAN" signal that controls the tachs/4 in 1 gauges.
