If you had to rank your boat upgrades - what would be your top two or three???

I went with this TV in the master: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BEJQBAE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It came with a 12v lighter plug, I just had to extend an existing 12v power source through the closet and into the master berth. I actually put a double outlet so I could run a Sony Blu Ray player (similar to this one: https://www.costco.com/Sony-BDP-BX370-Streaming-Blu-ray-Player.product.100281961.html) as well, both run on 12v and use very little power. I have an external hard drive with loads of HD movies that I can plug in to the USB port on the BR player, and watch directly from the hard drive through the player. Very convenient setup, and I don't have to run the genny to watch TV or movies.

Nice, I wasn't sure if a 24" would fit up there.
My long range plan is to have all 3 TV's run off of 12 volt. The Satellite system is already 12 volt. The LED screens use very little power.
I really don't have any use for DVD players anymore. I download movies from Netflix or Amazon on to my iPad and then hook that up to the TV to watch movies.
I've got an empty "Accesory" spot on the breaker panel under the helm. I was thinking of snaking wires from there to all 3 TV's.
My iPad is quickly becoming one of my favorite boating gadgets.
I can watch downloaded movies through it to the TV's, I've been able to locate just about every manual in the owners packet online and download them to it, it connects to my MFD's for another display, and I just hooked up Bluetooth to the stereo last night so I can stream XM and Pandora.

My top three.
1-Swimplatform. Hands down the best upgrade
2-Installed shore power to charger/inverter
3-Obligatory stereo upgrade

Heat
Put in 4 systems that take heat from the 2 main engines and generator and spread it around the boat. In all four 40,000BTU heaters run off the antifreeze systems. Upper helm has a heat exchanger system that has separate circulation pump so engine coolant does not leave the lower part of the boat. Keeps the enclosed upper helm as warm as the lower part of the boat. The other three 40,000 BTU heaters keep the main cabin and bedrooms warn under way or when the generator is running. Going north it is damp, wet and cold. Looked at propane systems but that is another fuel to worry about. Been in since 2007.

I don't want to hijack the thread so I'll answer the question if you have anymore questions pm me. John, the Inverter runs everything on the boat (excluding Ac/Heat) all 110vac appliances and outlets,lights,washer/dryer you name it it even runs the house battery charger while inverting. So far I've run the boat strictly on the Inverter for almost 7 hours and lost around 30% of the batteries .we installed (4) 6 vdc golf cart batteries.

Not that these are the best upgrades I've done, they're the only things I've done. Guess I need to get busy, there are some nice upgrades listed on this thread.
EGT and boost pressure gauges
high temperature coolant switches in the exhaust manifolds
drag needle vacuum gauges for the racors
LED lighting

Hey Jim,
How did you do the lake water wash down?

Thanks

I had the dealer install a seacock before delivery and then I put the pump in and plumbed it to the fresh water spigot in the transom locker.
