I was at the boat today and thought I would send you a pic of a good cutlass.... turns out mine don’t look so great. Got a few cracks and a bit of clearance issue... Thanks for that

You must have missed it... I stole my boat out of storage and ran it up the road to another marina and launched there a couple of weeks ago... Last weekend I lost the battery charger, fridge stopped working, vac pump for the guest head broke and lost Seatalk..then I lost power at the pedestal at the new marina I am in.... living the dream right now

For me it was a bent strut that wore the Cutlass Bearing out early. Once I replaced those items the prop would turn very easily.

Thank you! My starboard prop is very difficult to turn and getting new cutlass bearings anyway since I have no idea when they were last replaced but also it looks worn.

Go to the http://clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/500-520-db-official-thread.90789/ forum and look for my posts starting at #1647 (page 83). The saga started with difficulty turning the props by hand and all of the effort getting that corrected. I wrap up the fix in post #1908.
