A young guy, 22yo, reacted quickly and stopped the bad guy. It sounds like the kid was pretty cool, calm under the circumstances. He pushed his girlfriend away and down, told her to stay down. If I understand correctly he then took a resting position against a column and fired at the bad guy about 40 yards away. I don't know if he was a good shot or if he got lucky. Under those circumstances either way it could be hard to do but he stopped the shooter.

Thanks kid, good job, you killed a person but I hope it doesn't end up bothering you too much, you did what you had to do.

I can hear the Libs now. He's a killer, a vigilante, took the law into his own hands. Murderer!

You need to expand your mind.....many people didnt and wont vote for Trump et al or far right policies/governing and yet carry.
This young man was properly trained in the use of a firearm and purchased it legally.... no issues...Bravo Zulu

I won't be surprised if the family of the shooter sues him for wrongful death.
They already are labeling the guy. Absolutely pathetic ….. there is something seriously wrong with half the country

I'm tired of this...why does the guy have to be called anything, Hero, Good Samaritan. He was in the food court with the others, he was a target and potential victim like all the others. He had some balls and decided to fight for his life. Why can't it be that instead of all this Hero shit.

The way the term Hero is thrown around now days I feel the meaning has been diminished. Heck all the essential workers, and health care folks were called Heros, their heroic efforts will never be forgotten....until they were. No mask, no shot, then fuck you you're fired and we'll even fuckup your retirement if we can. The media and woke pussy's don't know what it means or don't mean it when they say it...or both.

Screw the meaningless Hero bullshit...the guy had some balls, he wanted to live...not huddle in the corner like some woke puss waiting to be shot.

Here's another one, they wanted to call him a Hero so bad but he corrected them. Watch this video, it's the Waffle House guy from a few years ago. Start at 5:00 for a minute and then 12:00, this guy tells it like it is.

You're free to feel how you want. But the dude is not only a hero, but a Bad Ass MFn Hero. How many people would have engaged? He could have ran with his girlfriend and probably survived. Instead, this kid, yeah kid, popped that ahole from 40 yards. Dude should have an ammo sponsorship. :)

Uvalde PD should take notes. This is how it's done folks...

A timeline update from the Greenwood police chief said that the entire situation lasted 15 seconds. The shooter exited the bathroom killed three people and the good guy took him down hitting him with eight of 10 shots.

The murderer was dead before the first 911 call.

8 out of 10 from 40 yards, under incredible stress. That's bad ass.

in fact there is no way I could replicate that with my skills. That kid a great shot.

The media should call him the 'Badass' with a cool grandfather.

Within 15 seconds from when the shooting began, Dicken fired 10 rounds hitting the shooter as the shooter tried to retreat into the bathroom but collapsed and died.

An autopsy found the shooter was shot eight times and none were self-inflicted.

Elisjsha Dicken, 22, of Seymour, has been identified as the person who pulled out a pistol he was carrying under the "Constitutional Carry" law to stop the suspect at the Greenwood Park Mall on Sunday.

Dicken had no police training or military background, according to police. He was carrying under the new "Constitutional Carry" law and did not have a permit. Police said Dicken learned to shoot from his grandfather and that he had no military or police training.

"His actions were nothing short of heroic. He engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun. Was very proficient in that, was tactically sound and as he moved to close in on the suspect, he was also motioning for people to exit behind him," Ison said about Dicken's actions.
