I am on with replacing my manifold and riser which has and is going to be used in sea water. This got me to wondering if anyone has converted to an indirect cooling system on 3.0L
I would appreciate any thoughts.

By "indirect" cooling do you mean "closed" cooling as in adding a heat exchanger with antifreeze? If it's already been run in salt water it is usually not a good idea a the salt and rust deposits can and will clog up the passages in the heat exchanger.

You are correct with your assumption and I appreciated your comments but if it's financially possible and can be done with ease I would be willing with the pain of regular checks of the heat exchanger.
Here in the Med they are telling me that a manifold and riser replacement is a 3-5 year event so I am trying to think along the lines of preventing such regular costs.
