What is the general consensus around Isotherm products? I just yanked the Uline Ice Maker in the cockpit out as we have no need for ice and is was getting cold, but not making any. Looking at the Isotherm Cruise 49 EL. Will fit nicely with only a little trimming. Really want AC/DC and will have to add a breaker and pull a couple of wires, but not a big deal. Thanks for any opinions.

I changed the 2 fridges in my 340da to isotherm and really liked them. They are quiet, look good abd seem to be well built.
My 520DB came from Sea Ray with 3 isotherms and I changed the bridge Norcold out to a drawer 65 style isotherm. They are all quiet and 3 have been working well. I did have an issue with the Drawer 36 in the cockpit. The compressor stopped working last spring and cost was not too much more just to change out the whole thing so that’s what I did. It does get salt spray around it being in the cockpit on the stern and it had a decent amount of corrosion on it. I am not sure if that had anything to do with the failure or not but it couldn’t have helped.

I've got a 9 month old Isotherm in my boat. The compressor stopped running the week I took the boat out of the water (October). So far I'd give Isotherm (Indel Wabasto) a C+ on customer service. It's not easy to get them to reply to emails. Via telephone the trouble shooting they've provided has been inconsistent between service reps.

I've got a new control panel now, hoping it solves my issue. If not I hate to think I'll have to pull mine out for some kind of return/replacement. Not exactly what I expected for an $1100 fridge...

So far, very happy with my Isotherm Cruise 130 in stainless. Installed in June 2020. Way more efficient than the original Waeco Coolmatic that it replaced (that company is now owned by Dometic; now there's a company that has so many lines they were zero help from a customer service standpoint).

would you have any interest in selling the ice maker mine crapt out?

Tiara used Isotherms on the 3200 open. It's a 12v model with a holding plate that gets cold any time you are running the engines. When you drop the hook, the cold plate keeps the box cold for a long time. When it runs out of cold in the plate, the compressor turns on. Very quiet and very efficient. Mine was absolutely trouble free. We used it for overnighting on the hook for years and loved it.

...mixed reviews...I will not buy another Norcold and the Isotherm is the only other model close to fitting....thanks for the replies.

I went to a dock neighbor that is using it as a freezer on an old Bayliner. I saw your posts earlier and had you in mind until he wanted to replace his.

Hi what model isotherm did you install in the 340SD cabin/salon? Any fitment? My cabinet rough opening is 23 1/2w x 31 1/8h. Ty
