Keep Track of Rising Prices

news keeps saying how gas prices have dropped by .xx amount in the past 2 months and say it's almost back to where it was when the Ukraine war started. They keep referencing the Ukraine war but skip over the $2 jump the day Biden was sworn in
That's because it's an "inconvenient truth".

Isn’t Putin still invading Ukraine ?

3 weeks ago, the Open Roads discount on diesel at the nearest truck stop to me was 20 cents off the pump price per gallon. Today I noticed that it is $1.73 less per gallon than the pump price. The pump price has come down 40 cents, the discounted price has come down $1.93... Fast to go up, slow to come down.

Still 3.79 for regular around here as of last night. Thanks PA democrats for taxing us to death with little in return

I remember when I would stop in PA to buy fuel before crossing the border because fuel was cheaper there. Now it's more than NY. Shame.

Today…
Boars head Pastrami 1# $18
White bread $3.49 House brand on sale for $1 but that’s a loss leader as they say in our family grocery business.
Boats head Swiss 1# $7

Still 3.79 for regular here. Went 15 miles away across the Ohio line tonight and paid 2.85. Keep hearing about gas prices dropping everywhere but here in western PA it has only dropped about .20 in the past few weeks

Yeah, we are holding steady at about $3.40-$3.50 here. Jan 1, more gas taxes hit. Cool.

Remember….if something increases in price by $2 and subsequently falls in price by $0.50, it has still increased in price by $1.50.

Exactly. And Biden and his cronies trying to make everyone think they are great cause gas dropped .50 in the past month...lol

Still 3.79 here in western PA. Took my wifes car 15 miles across the Ohio line and paid 2.87 tonight. Did the same the other day. $1/gallon. That's 24% cheaper. PA gas tax sucks. And they aren't even spending it on what they were supposed to so want to create a new tax now.
