When you live in the sticks like we do, you take what you can get, 45 miles to the nearest Walmart, 3 1/2 hours to nearest sams

Ah, I get it. I'm 5 minutes from Sam's, Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco. And, 15 minutes from the marina.

5 minutes to those and 1 to a walmart (that has fairly large boat section)

Hey Group, thought I would bump this thread, Just filled up the FatBottom Girl 62Gls @$4.21 If your not a marina member $5.75 so the $4.21 is supposed to be what they are putting it into the tank for. $3.01 for regular at the BP heading to the marina.
Edit: Marina gas is 89 non-ethonal

$3.01 for 87? I just paid $3.27 when up north and felt lucky, as it's $3.47 down in the valley.

87 octane in the Mrs' boat would cause him lots of problems.

We are $3.02 street and $2.82 at Sam's. My car takes 93 which was $3.12 at Sam's and $3.42 on the road.

Last week I paid $2.39. Thanks Kroger fuel points.

Yep, I didn’t mention I get Harris Teeter fuel points, I usually wait until the EOM then get a dollar off the $3.01

Premium at Sam’s is $3.71 today.

I kind of laugh when I see all these people in lines at Sam’s and Costco. I can understand the waiting in line if they went shopping there. But a lot of these folks drive just for the gas. Most of them are only getting 15 gallons of gas, so they’re saving a whopping $3.70. That’s not including the time it takes to go there and back.

If they had a truck or a Suburban like I did with a 42 gallon gas tank, I could understand

Kind of bummed that my new to me Yukon XL only has a 31 gallon tank. My old suburban got 11.2 miles per gallon when towing. So with the 42 gallon tank I did not have to stop for three or 400 miles.

In theory without towing I could drive that thing 650 + miles.

it will be interesting to see what kind of mileage I will get out of this Yukon XL
