Hey folks, Just got the boat wrapped up for the winter and forgot to remove one of the bulbs from the approximately 10 task lights, so that I could source an LED replacement over the winter. Would anyone happen to have the specs on the existing bulb as listed below from the SR parts guide? "981316 SPOTLIGHT, SWIVEL TASK BEIGE W/GLD ACCNT HLGN 858886 BULB, REPL FOR #0830307 " If I could get those then I can find a nice energy efficient LED light source so that my children can continue to leave every flipping light on in the boat when we're out at anchor in the islands.:smt100 Thanks for any info that you can pass on! This thread has exactly what you need: http://clubsearay.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29780&referrerid=7610 I bought the same bulbs from LED Wholesalers and they are great. Hello from a fellow Canadian boater waiting for April 2011.
Perfect, excellent link, that will give me everything that I needed!! Unfortunately, now I have to wait 'til Spring to try out my new toys...rassin' frassin', grrr....:smt013 As for sfergson727's comment, it's not a fear of the dark but more a love of the light, yes, that's it...Creekwood, I'll probably bump into you in the aisles at the January boat show in Toronto, so I'll apologize in advance for any drooling episodes if I'm around the 52DA's!
I always find if funny that the weather at the time of the Toronto show is usually one of the coldest weeks of the winter. I wish it was in March so it wouldn't be so long from show to launch. I think they would sell more accessories if they pushed it later. Maybe see you on the water. My boat's at Hindson in Penetang. From your avatar looks like you must be at Queens landing? (one of the few covered slip marina's on G-Bay).
