Is there not a place you can go to see a list of all companies that advertise here on CSR ?... often times you prefer to purchase from them but cant remember the name when you only saw it once or twice

Found them... Cant believe they went out of business

Marine Teak is now closed. Thank you to all of our customers over the years - please keep safe!

That's too bad. Really liked their product. I was looking to replace my bridge table similar to what I did in the cockpit. Checked their site a few weeks ago and they had very limited inventory.

I’m guessing they probably lost their subsidized UK/USPS postage rates. They could ship cheaper from the UK to the US than anyone of us could ship within the US. Dennis (Lazy Daze) can relate the story of shipping the mahogany table I made for him a few years ago.

oh man... that sucks!!! I wish I would have know and I would have ordered a few more pieces before they closed. There was no alert at all!!!

Marine Teak sold tables manufactured by Eude. The Eude tables appear to be available exclusively through Defender. I haven’t compared the prices from what Marine Teak used to charge, but I’m certain the shipping will be more as that pricing was too fast and cheap to be true!

In early December we wanted ship a ‘care package’ to our son from MD to CA. 1 box was over $100 at usps. Nope. Mailed him money, said buy it yourself. Can’t imagine what a heavy wood table would cost.

I’m not sure what has happened to shipping prices lately. Even a UPS 2nd day air envelope used to cost me about $7-9, now it’s $23.

I recently sold a one-of-a-kind framed sporting memorabilia print autographed by the entire sports team and support staff on eBay. The cost of shipping exceeded the sale price by $50. I had to honor my eBay deal, but I would’ve been $50 ahead to throw the damn thing in a dumpster.
