Middle River day marker?

I got an alert from the coast guard that Middle River day marker “was destroyed”, and that “portions may remain”. Somebody hit it again?

At least on the TN river they look pretty substantial.

I am taking zodiac down river tomorrow. Your intrepid reporter will investigate and report back with pictures. Cause as we know on here, without pictures… yada yada yada.

If going down river, that would be south, it’s on the starboard, that would be on the right, past Hopkins, just before Normans Creek.

I was about to post a rant about lights on all these dam unlit metal poles in the middle of our river. But won’t, this ain’t the place. We need to grab our elected officials by the balls and tell them. I may do that, I got nothing bettered to do.
