Official 2003.5-2008 340 Sundancer Thread

No check valve on mine. But may consider one since i am also on a lift. Just will need to make it another maintenance item. It is inconvenient to have to go down and open and close the seacock every time we want to use the ac.
 
Just picked up a 2004 340 Sundancer and have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can answer. Do the Gauge lights turn on when you turn the IGN breakers on? I do not see anyway to turn them off. On my 01 340 the gauge lights came on only when I turned the Nav lights on.
 
Some pics of my upgrades this year... I installed 200ft of Anchor chain The colors are painted every 25ft with Red,White & Blue... The yellow marks 200ft

Did the Garmin upgrades including a Fusion head unit and A/P which ill never install another A/P again... What a pain in the a##...

And last we did the Canvas with sloping back.. Didn't want the Camper back... Because don't want to look at the poles all the time but want the extra shade...So we added a little sun shade... O and the Stainless handle

What was difficult about installing the A/P? I have this on my list during the electronics update.

The different fittings and hose sizes needed to be made up other then that... Not too bad... Just messy job

Also the Garmin in the center is a 943 & the one off the side is a 8610...
 
Switching to LED bulbs in the cabin.

Can someone please tell me which bulbs are needed for the cabin ceiling lighting?
I did a search on the forum but can't find the exact replacement info.

I'd like to replace the stock bulbs for LED's in the small round fixtures and the 2 larger round fixtures in the ceiling.

Any help is appreciated.

I ordered LED G4 25w watt equivalents that should work for both fixtures. I ordered from Amazon the Rayhoo 10 pcs G4 LED Bulbs JC Bi-Pin Base 1.5W 12V 10W-20W T3 Halogen Replacement Bulbs, Warm White 3000K.
 
Where would you connect wires to use the unused aux switches on the stbd kidney pad?

For instance I am looking at installing a nema 2k starter kit. I am trying to find where the physical connection points are for the open accessory buttons. I noticed a couple of boards behind the door under the steering wheel. One was some type of multiple fuse holder and the other looked like a circuit board which would need special connectors. Is this the area I’m looking for or is there some type of terminal strip?
Talking about a 2006 of course.

Should be able to get power from the one with the fuses

I haven't read this entire thread, so I'll apologize in advance if this has been covered.
I have a 2007 340 - I removed the old TV and mounted a new smart TV. We can stream via the pier's wifi but I'd like to get over-the-air channels and hook into the built in DVD player. Experimentation has not worked yet and I can't make sense of the existing wires and boxes. Does the coaxial go to the antenna or to the cable-in plug or both? Do I need that big black tuner box? What about the remote control antenna (not shown). And the box in the upper left, and the little green boxes? Its tough to hold the TV in mid-air to test stuff so I'm tempted to snip the harness open and let the wires flow out a bit.. TIA.
