Official 330 Express Cruiser / 340 Amberjack 1997-2003 Thread

Has anybody re-striped their bow vinyls? If so where did you buy the vinyls and what is the factory size? And how did you remove the old and apply the new?

I was also wondering has anyone done away with the older Searay signs and went with the newer oval ones and if so what size did you go with?

Just closed on my new-to-me 340 AJ; it is a 2003 with the 8.1L Horizons and verified with Sea Ray as the very last 340 AJ that rolled out of the factory. Runs like a dream, very happy.

It came with the L-shaped bench seat for the back deck and I have no need for this as I'll primarily be fishing. If anyone is looking for this seat please message me - it's in excellent shape. I'm located in Wisconsin.

Mike, I'm located in Wisconsin. I don't know what these are worth but I would imagine they'd be around $1k. Shoot me a message and we can figure something out if you're interested.

need some help guys... my vent window actuator shit the bed.. does anyone have recommendations where to get one? I found one on progressive automations but it has only has a ground and power.. I'm just curious if anyone has a better source !!!

Does your existing one have more than 2 wires? For the 310DA the windshield actuator has 2 wires and power is reversed by the switch to make it open or close.

The limit switch went bad. You can override it. I just had to do this on mine.

hey guys I'm looking for the fuel coolers for our boats I'm wondering if anyone has bought one recently ? (454 mag horizon)

What’s going on?? Mr cool has them
ve replace the entire coolant system a couple years ago with mr. cool but I had no idea their was fuel coolers..lol..But after replacing the system I noticed I still had a sheen in the water so I just thought I need valve seals because everyone at the yacht club said so, but I went down to the boat today after taking it out a couple days ago and started her up an she was still having a sheen in the water. So I went to google and started searching around on the forums and found out a few people had the same symptoms and solved it with the fuel coolers.

I can tell you when I start my boat up there is a slight sheen coming out of the exhaust that goes away after the engines warm up for about 10 minutes I think the computer runs the fuel mixture rich upon start up and then leans it out as the engines warm up if you’re still seeing a sheen after the boats been running for 15 or 20 minutes then I would say you have an issue to track down as far as the fuel cooler dumping raw fuel that I have not heard of. I think Mr. cool sells for about 200 apiece not a huge deal

Today I’m going to go down to the boat and change the spark plugs and see what’s going on there I also am going to do an oil change. What are you running for plugs and do you stick with the quicksilver oil ? What would you do to try and figure out the fuel problem?

Same with the 454s in my prior 330DA. I assumed this was normal, like when we see condensation coming out of a cars exhaust.

Ngk plugs and I use rottela 15-40 oil

Someone was looking for the fresh water tank. After research i found the part number to be 120050 made by a company called Duracast. You can order from Tank depot and if you need a contact I can get you the person that ordered mine. I had the fittings installed at a local rv yard.

Hey all! I'm newer here as i just got a 2001 340aj with diesels. I'm looking for the tub that goes in the fish box. I guess "tub" is what you call it. Any input/advice/direction would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a problem with my 330 EC I keep getting water in the front compartment in the
V Berth The center area under the cushion all the way forward in the cabin. Has anyone else had this issue and if so do you find where the water was coming from? I thought it was the horn area but i closed it off and I'm still getting water in the area, then I thought It might be the anchor locker but I dont think thats it either I inspected the area and found it to be well sealed.

Thanks
I have the same problem I also closed off the horn area did you find where the water is coming from?
