Official 370 Venture thread

I hope all the 370 ventures on the west coast of FL survived IAN.

I cant afford one now, but I hope to buy one in 5 or so years and each one that sinks makes it less and less likely that I'll end up with one. Please please please take good care of these amazing crafts..

And if anyone wants to donate one to a teacher let me know! :)

ours is safe in Cape May NJ

Glad to hear that. I would never want to celebrate a death of one of these amazing boats, but, if anyone sees one that is off to the auction block, please please let me know. Don't care if it's got no motors, it's the hull that I am over the top about and the specific design of the cabin.. I will tow it from anywhere in FL to where I'm at !

mine survived fine! yahoo. Interior guy was supposed to start last week. Hadn't heard from him and assumed he might have flooded from the hurricane I wouldn't get mine done for a long time. He calls today and says the 3 other boats they were working on sank and can they please start on mine today, only job he's got.

Phew. Was worried about yours! Need it to be there in 5 to 10 years when I can afford one!!

Glad to hear that! I had mine pulled out of the water for the storm and did just fine at the marina. Hope all the others were as lucky. Please do let me know what your installer says about removing the port lounge cushions.

Officially ordered the sharrow props after talking to a Marine Max store manager on a getaway this past weekend who was part of a trial on the 32 foot Galeon GTO. He said the performance difference was amazing. Fuel consumption, getting up on plane at lower RPM's, overall handling and top speed were all superior. I figure if I can get on plane 500 to 800 RPM's lower, cruise fuel savings will pay for the props the first 80 to 100 hours of use.
So how much were the props? Let us know how they work!

i just reupholstered my venture. used canvas designers. it's gorgeous!!! but was really pricey!

Very nice on the new seats on boat boats! I'm still looking for a project 370 venture.. need it to liveaboard. Currently living on a 2004 28ft power boat and while it's doable and fun, the venture 370 checks so many more boxes...

List of requirements met by this model:

- OUTBOARDS!
- LARGE FRONT TABLE (wrap around windows is a huge plus)
- Amazing looking, stylish bedroom, not a boring boat bedroom (bachelor here)
- outdoor kitchen (cooking with a pan inside is dirty)
- Space for a toaster oven downstairs
- Storage space all over...

As I said in another thread, if there's a HULL out there that anyone knows about, I'm interested, even if both motors are blown. Just need a hull that floats and I'm in!

If prices for these things were 100k I'd be living in one right now.
