Let me know how to remove this light fixture - there is no set screw.

Yes. This is correct.Grab at the base and twist counter clockwise. Its mounted on a plate with tabs
I replaced my berth fixtures with reading lights that have USB ports built into the light (suggested by another user on CSR). Its a great plan because there is a shelf to put the phone on while asleep and now the phone will charge at night. Thanks…
I was looking for a place to add a USB outlet ( 12 v power cigarette type ) so instead I took the speaker out and got to the wires that way..
Do you have a link or description? I'd LOVE these in the boat and the travel trailer!! I see them with a USB port, but none have a shelf!I replaced my berth fixtures with reading lights that have USB ports built into the light (suggested by another user on CSR). Sorry I should have been more clear. The boat has a shelf right under the light. Not the light. Here is what they look like:Do you have a link or description? I'd LOVE these in the boat and the travel trailer!! I see them with a USB port, but none have a shelf!
I got all excited for a minute there! LOL!! I did find many different styles, so I will add those to a birthday/Christmas list as some winter projects. Charging ports didn't exist in 2009 when we bought our Arctic Fox and obviously they aren't on the 89 DA either. I've added some at the table and the helm, but in each sleeping compartment there is a light on each side and that would REALLY be cool!Sorry I should have been more clear. There were a lot of choices on Amazon. The one thing I do not like about this light is that it does not stay "on" when the main light switch circuit is turned off and then back on. So unlike the other lights in the cabin, that will come on with the main light switch if the switches on the fixture are left in the on position, these do not. That is OK for a reading light, but not great for other lights in the cabin that you want to turn on and off from the wall switch.I got all excited for a minute there! LOL!! Thanks for the idea!!
