I have searched all over the 320DA forum but I cannot find where folks have been discussing changing out all of their bulbs for LED. I really do not want to buy new fixtures I just want ot swap bulbs. Has anyone used a vendor they can recommend?
I just replaced all my cabin bulbs for these and they are amazing. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WRS71VZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_PzLYBb2D2XRHG Just make sure that you have G4 bulbs.
Amazon. West marine and SuperLED are WAY expensive. I think I did my entire boat for like $50. 2 year later not one blew out.
For someone not experienced with crossing over to the correct type and wattage of LED I really don’t know what to order and I really don’t want to swap out fixtures.
No need to swap out fixtures. The only thing you need to do is determine the connector for the bulb. On my 340SDA ceiling lights were G4 and I used Round with rear pin (long). The lumen is what determines the brightness and then you have the color. Most people choose warm white color. The only thing with LEDs is that they are directional with respect to the electric (DC+ v DC-). So if they don't work when you plug them in you may need to rotate them and try the pins in the opposite direction. -Kevin

I know results may vary, but I bought these bulbs and had bad luck. All failed within a couple months of install. I did find some from amazon that worked well, will check to see if I can find the details.
Marinebeam.com is who I use for all my boat's LED's and have used their products for the last seven years with no regrets. Be aware of the cheap LED's on amazon and ebay; there are reports of them overheating and potential fire hazard as well as sub-par electronics and EMI. Also be aware of the issues with interference with navigation equipment; peruse the Marinebeam web sight for information on this.
I've also had good luck with superbrightled.com. Their customer service is top notch. On some bulbs I would even email them a pic of the bulb I was replacing while on their online chat support and they would identify it and recommend an led replacement. If you do get the wrong bulb from them, the return/exchange process is about as painless as you can get.
Hi @WV 320 Dancer - I posted step by step starting from purchase to swapping out the old bulbs over at the 420/440DA thread. Here is a link: http://www.clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/420-da-thread.1273/page-69#post-1007459
Many of the LED bulbs here are likely great but LED buyers need to be aware of this CG Safety Alert. https://www.dco.uscg.mil/Portals/9/...INV/Alerts/1318.pdf?ver=2018-08-16-091109-630 MM
