New boater looking for 280 Sundancer
    Boatless
Good afternoon all. First time Sea Ray purchaser (and overall boat purchaser) here looking for a little help in the purchase of a 2004 Sundancer 280 in St. Augustine. I'm principally looking for a suggestion on someone to do the pre-sale survey as well as a standard P & S. This is my first boat purchase so I'm finding my way. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an offer on the boat? Is the boat brokered? Or are you just starting to look?

Basically, when you see the boat you like, you enter into the purchase agreement subject to survey and sea trial. If it's a broker boat, they'll handle the contract part as they have forms they use. With a private sale, you'll need your own form. Surveyors and mechanics can come from recommendations from friends and here. Good luck.
