May 1 the Chicago harbors open officially.

 

Just got my launch packet from them today also, which will make the rest of this winter seem like it's going even slower, but there's hope! We typically launch the last weekend in April or first weekend in May.

Did you happen to notice the significant rate hike for storage next year?.....

 

Depending on weather and Ice, they typically start launching boat first week of April. Procrastinators like me struggle to get in by Mother's Day.

 

What did you see? Mine went up about $400 or 8%.

 

Same as yours, 8% compared to this year.

 

Yikes, that's a kick in the arse!

 

My launch date is 4/1, as long as the ice is gone and the harbor is open. Haul date is 11/1. For me, summer is too short not to use it all.
