Hey Guys,

I just purchased a 2007 210 Select. The SmartCraft shallow warning goes off all the time since we use our boat in the river most of the time. How do I either turn off the alarm (I know the waters very well) or change the depth at which the alarm goes off? Thanks.

Assuming you have the LCD panel SmartCraft display, select the depth gauge display and then push the check mark button; you'll get a popup that lets you change the settings.

Don't know how to do this for the dedicated displays.

Resurrection of an old post. Our 2004 Sundeck 240 is on a lake. Lake levels are lower than usual. SmartCraft depth alarm sounds as soon as we start the engine (in about 3 ft of water) and lasts for 2-3 minutes, even when we are in deeper water (10 ft). Accessed the CAL 2 screen (as per SmartCraft manual) and lowered the depth sensor to 0 ft. Alarm still goes off. Called Mercury and their suggestion was to just keep playing around with the Depth Sensor and also the Depth Offset. Even with the sensor set at 0 ft, alarm wound beep for 2-3 minutes. We know the lake well and have a separate fishfinder with depth, so we don't need the alarm. We couldn't find any setting for alarm ON/OFF. Is there any way deactivate the alarm? Since the alarm goes off even at 0 ft, do we have a problem somewhere in the entire depth function (transducer, software, etc)?
