So let's hear about and see your cars.

"M" tag (manufacturer) on it with a metropark access sticker. Must run it around Kensington Park regularly.

They were likely on a plant visit... this was taken at a hotel I frequent in Bowling Green a few miles from the assembly plant...

'Can't remember if I posted this earlier, but here's my first car, a '66 Mustang with the venerable 200 straight-six, nosed-up to the '69 Dodge Superbee.

My latest ride, an '18 Mustang powered by the tiny 2.3L turbo'd four-banger. The light weight of this engine brings the weight bias to almost 50-50, helping it to be surprisingly nimble around a track. Somewhere around 300 crank horsepower helps.

It has a rather "colorful" history. If you're interested: https://www.mustangecoboost.net/threads/nater-potaters-build-thread.18815/page-2#post-248335

Just sold the Boxster S. Time to find the right 300zx twin turbo....again.....for the 3rd time.....

I've had 4 300ZX's over time, last was a turbo. I loved those cars. On was an 84 and then a 90, 91 & 93. I think the 90's era were a ground breaking design then held up for decades.

My first car was a 280zx and over the past 4 years I've had 2 300zx twin turbos. Now I'm looking for another one. I don't mind a few modifications as long as it looks relatively stock. No crazy paint job, no huge wing, don't need 10 gauges on the pillars, etc.

This little beaut is a 1984 Renault Alpine Racer. It is at a local shop that specializes in European cars. The owner is going to buy my wife's deceased uncle's Ferrari 308 GTSi from the estate. I was going to restore the 308 but he told me it would take 2 years and cost $60K plus the $20K to buy it from the estate. It's more the timeframe than the money that is deterring me.

Back to the Renault, it is a rear engine car. There were only 1,200 made and only 600 still in existence. A guy from Belgium shipped it to him to do an engine-out rebuild. Cool little car.

An $80k fully restored pristine 308 sounds like a deal.
Unfortunately it is $80K to acquire and get it running. Then there is a year of chasing gremlins, so maybe another $10K. Then another $20K to restore the exterior and interior. So it's more like $110K for a car that might be worth $80K. More importantly, it is 18 months to 2 years to get it running. Then another year chasing gremlins. Not to mention the time to get the paint and interior restored. More time than I am willing to invest.

I'd give my left you know what for that '69 Dodge Superbee

Dealer I used to work at had a 440 six pack, four speed 69 Super Bee they raced back in the early 70s. With setting the carbs to open quicker, a new cam ground to exact stock specs, and tighter valve springs We got it into the low 12s. Best run was a 12.01.

Oh but you gotta have phart cans on it right?

If I thought that would have paid the mortgage, I also would have given my left berry to keep the 'Bee!
And me on my V code (440 Six Pack) 71 Dodge Challenger R/T that had 8000 miles on it. I still have the title to remind me how foolish I was back then.
