But seeing the video is just WTF?
Almost seems personal for these cops.

I havnt got my head around this yet.... I am not a cop lover by any means and I have alot of stories....there just seems to be more to this story. Glad they are fired and the charges against them seem appropriate .....just a sad situation all aroundBut seeing the video is just WTF?

I watched all the videos, I got questions too but I don't think it matters now what happened. The cops need to be sacrificed to prevent rioting. Maybe they deserve it anyway, maybe not.
Question for you. Where you ever trained to open a driver's side door and pull a guy out of the car?As an ex-cop I can't imagine ANYTHING that young man might have done that warranted him being brutally murdered by 4 cops. I refuse to watch those videos. I guess I don't need that in my life anymore.
No, and neither do I. Please understand that training for cops cannot possibly cover every event. A handful of times in my career I found it necessary to open a driver's door and remove the driver from the car. That being said, it NEVER was followed up with a beating.Question for you. Where you ever trained to open a driver's side door and pull a guy out of the car?
That's the part that makes no sense to me. If the guy was out of control, it seems they would use caution when approaching the car. No clue if he has gun or whatnot. What I have seen is the cops box the car in, and then negotiate the guy out of the car. Or at least proceed with an abundance of caution.
These guys walked right up, opened the door, and pulled the kid out of the car. I don't get that.
I used to be 100 percent pro cop, then on fathers day 2016 i had a incident with a off duty highway patrolman on a boat ramp That changed my view completely. I still believe most cops are good people, but there are vile disgusting liars in the herd as well. One of these days ill tell the story on here.I havnt got my head around this yet.... I think in one video I heard them say 'get out of the car' just as they started yanking him out....was that the only time they said it or was it the 20th, who knows. Too bad there's no other video of what led up to the stop. You'd think cop cars would all have dash cams w/audio recording at all times.
I'm not siding with the police, I got lots of questions but I'd still bet the guy would be living if he wouldn't have fought and escaped when they first yanked him out of the car. Like it or not he contributed to the end result.I have watched a bunch of the videos now. There are none that could possibly excuse any of the cops for what they did after yanking him from the car. No matter what happened before. They became judge , jury , and executioners. Then stood around laughing?
My friends son is a Memphis cop. Last time I saw him I made a remark about it being dangerous work there. He just said the part of town he works is pretty safe.I live 30 minutes outside of Memphis the rumor is he was going with one of the guys girl friends or wife not sure but that's what we been hearing. I'm sure it will all come out at the trial cause when they go to squeezing the birds are gonna start to sing. But like I said that's just rumors lots of them going around...
I worked for the City of Memphis for almost 42 Years and believe me there is nowhere I will go in Memphis and feel safe anymore. There are killings every day, robberies all over town from one side to the other, kidnappings you name it and it's happening there. The thing now is 2 car loads pull up beside you one on each side all the windows blacked out and they rob you or car jack you. Not the city I started working in 1972...I hardly ever go there anymore..If you visit there be careful especially at night. I really feel for the Police there not saying what those guys did was right nothing was right about that whole thing.
I agree. We don't live out in the country but do live in a relatively small (175 homes) community where we're isolated from a lot of what goes on in the "outside world" and we love it.I like my country life.
