I just took an F150 from Michigan to Sandusky Ohio to Indy and back to Michigan over 3 days…. With a number of short trips in between….. Holy Phuck!!!…… never less than $100 to fill it….. Why you pickup truck owners haven’t started a revolution is beyond me….. you poor bastards
Get a diesel and it is way better. A 3500 Ram diesel gets 25+ mpg on the highway and a friend pulling a 24 foot box trailer at high speed got 14 mpg recently.
We are heading to Rochester Michigan this weekend. If my suburban hadn’t been totaled I’d be driving that this weekend. Instead we will be driving my sisters Nissan. I’ve started to search for a used suburban. I told my buddy who’s a car dealer I don’t need one until May
Our Infiniti gets right at 25mpg. That's better than my BMW 330ci so guess what gets driven the most.
“2023 is not going to be a cakewalk for motorists. It could be expensive,” GasBuddy’s head of petroleum analysis, Patrick De Haan, told CNN. “The national average could breach $4 a gallon as early as May — and that’s something that could last through much of the summer driving season.” https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/12/27/gasbuddy-gas-prices-soar-4-gallon-2023/
My Lincoln gets the least mileage of the 3 in the house. But it's also the most comfortable and the quietest. It has enough room for my "stuff" and it pulls my little boat with ease. Guess which one I drive the most, regardless whether it's towing?
PA just raised gas tax again effective 1/1/23. Now 2nd highest in the nation behind California at .611/gallon
Interesting as usual one cannot believe anything you read or hear….I read where fuel prices were to continue to drop and then in the spring they were predicting increases coming spring and summer 2023. Fuel prices just increased $.50 a gallon overnight. BS
So sick and tired of the gas prices fluctuating. Last week they were down to $2.75. Today it is $3.45. And this is the time of year when not very many people are traveling. Gas prices “should” be the lowest since there is not as much demand. With that said I did pay $2.45. Thank you Kroger fuel points.
That’s the affect of Pricksters fuel tax in the new year….there is supposed to be another coming. He rescinded some of the state fuel tax last year because of inflation pressures us peasants were feeling. Now because we’re doing so much better, he is instituting the tax again. I think eggs are still $5 bucks a dozen last time to the store. Hang on for another wild ride this year!
Looks like $4.00 a gallon shortly. Less than a month ago it was $2.74 in Indianapolis. Now the highest is $3.54. “ Gas prices could reach $4 by April — 'maybe sooner': Analyst” https://finance.yahoo.com/news/gas-...by-april--maybe-sooner-analyst-193427058.html
