I would like to replace my propeller and have no clue where or how to start.
My 1971 SRX came to me with 6 props, all 3 blade "Elephant ear" aluminum. At the time I was told the prop (HH) on the boat gave best performance, which isn't bad but after engine refresh - 327 bored +.30 and Edelbrock aluminum heads and manifold added - only does 48, a small improvement from paltry 44.
For a starting point, I have made numerous attempts to contact and get info from HH on prop specs (not stamped anywhere on prop) to no avail.
Any help appreciated.
