Not to kick you when you are down but, there are several threads related to Scott's issues. One only need to do a search to see. I had been considering using him but, now there is no chance!

There are also threads on the Mako and THT websites all related to this guys perils. Too much drama for me thank you!! Good luck getting your panels. I hope he comes through for you!

Todd, Kick away I have it coming.. I researched Vector and took away what I wanted to believe I guess. Lesson learned! Although there are many members of Club Sea Ray that praised this guy until very recently. Now it seems that his ship is finally sinking just as I climbed on board. Oh well, the loss is not going to kill me just kinda grinds a guy when this crap happens. I also hope myself and everyone else waiting gets their orders sometime soon.

I'm not kicking you. That's not my style. You are right that he has recieved many positive reviews here and that is the only reason I didn't cross him off of my list a while ago. It does look as though he has really tanked this time but, it wouldn't be the first time he has come back from the dead if he eventually comes through for you. Hang in there and keep the faith. As far as I know, to date, he has NEVER skunked a customer yet. It's just the level of grief you can stomach until he comes through that is tough. I sincerely wish you luck, you're still in the game.

There, i said it.

Most guys ordered their panels several months ago after Scott had seemingly put his act back toegether. Scott does exellent work that is done at a great price and has been highly praised here for many years. The guys looking for their product aren't without brains as they were burned by a retailer that has NOW proven to be unreliable.

Same here, I've not known of a customer that never got their product. Do know of a couple that got ulcers. :smt043

I am in need of another panel replaced. I sent him an email last night. If he does not respond by 10:00 this morning, I'am going to place a call to him and hope he responds. Next problem would be how long it takes him to send my replacement.

I just tried to get my money back with paypal, but just found out I am SOL because the transaction is more than 45 days old, looks like I am at the mercy of this joker.
 
Has anyone had any recent contact with Scott? We've just signed for another boat so will be putting the Sea Ray on the market very soon and the dash is an embarrassment at the moment! I've also lodged a dispute with Payal but it is too late for a refund.

Being in Australia doesn't make things any easier! Will probably have to try and find someone local that can make one.

My understanding is that he is moving now (another excuse). I need a panel done and tryed to get in contact with him since Monday. You would think that he would at least answer his messages on the phone or answer his email. If I don't hear from him soon I will take his panels and ship them technograhic and have them duplicated, then toss his panels in the garbage. At this point I don't care about money. Scotts biggest problem is his lack of communication. In my line of work a customer will accept pretty much any delays, if you at least stay in contact with them. I had a lot of faith in
Scott but he is screwing up by not at least staying in contact.

Sorry to hear that guys. This bozo has treaded water for a long time and displayed more lives than a cat but it seems he has finally succumbed to his demons.

My guess is drug abuse. A junkie always has an excuse and puts the blame on others, never himself. I would write off the $$ and order from another reputable vendor.

Currently chasing down some guys in Australia that do these..

A long shot but would anyone know where to find a dimensioned drawing of the instrument panel in a 400DA? The parts manual is helpful but has no dimensions.
 
i had scott do my panels last year at this time, and let me say first off and most importantly they look great!!
BUT i sent them to him last february 7th, and didnt receive them back until june 23rd, thats absolutley ridiculous!!!
excuse after excuse all with long drawn out stories, i just feel thankful that i actually got mine back before this debacle started
my sympathies to anyone who is in limbo now!!
 
Yes, I have lost hope in him. Actually I lost hope a long time ago. If you paid with a cc through paypal make sure you contact them as most of us are way past the 45 day cut off. I can't believe that this can go unpunished when so many thousands of dollars are lost not to mention the poor guys that sent their panels for templates and can't even get them back. The whole situation sucks and hopefully after this discussion there will be no other victims of Vector Imaging.
