We have SR 370ac with a laundry room with washing machine/dryer combo rather than a port stateroom. Adjacent to the utility room are steps leading up to the main salon. Under the steps is a compartment at bilge level at center of keel where transducers are located along with a bilge pump with float switch all this being approximately 18 inches below the floor. Sea Ray Owners Manual ID's this as Forward Cabin Bilge Pump although it is not actually in the V-birth. I pull up the stairs and check this for water frequently and have never found water in this compartment until recently. Last check there was 1 1/2 inches of water, not enough for the float to switch on, The water has been vacuumed out and completely dried. Over a two week period no water has returned. I had first suspected a leak from a transducer shaft but baffled by water not returning, then water again several days later. Can this possibly be coming the washing machine. Has anyone had this experience?

Quite honestly, it could be coming from anywhere and just finding its way to the lowest point. We had a 44DB and water in the mid bilge near the washing machine. It was coming from a leaky shower mixing valve. You should be able to isolate the washing machine by cutting the water off to it.
