Westerbeke coolant leak

I have noticed a small pool of coolant in the bilge after running the genny for about 30 minutes (7 kw in 02 360 Sundancer). The area around and under the Gen itself is dry, the pooling is between the Gen base and the engine bed, no splattering, just a small pool.
Has anybody else had this occur? leakage out of the reservoir when the coolant heats up? It might also be possible the port engine could have a leak. I noticed this leaving the boat and didn’t have time to fully investigate.

Check the cap and seat on the heat exchanger. The cap has a seal that deteriorates and the seat can become a little rough.

Can't really tell by the photo, but the over flow tank is supposed to do just that, catch the over flow when the coolant expands then allow it to return to the engine when it cools down. If the cap and orifice for the tube is not tight or possibly bad the system will not work as intended.

Very often the tube orifice gets clogged and the cap let's the anti-freeze out and it has no where to go and will make a splattering mess. If only a few drops, then it is possible there is a small leak in the tygon tubing going to the reservoir tank. If you do replace that hose, use fuel style clamps regular hose clamps can cause leaks.

Thanks for the responses..Went to the boat and poked around…..I thought it was the tube feeding in to the bottom of the coolant recovery tank…there were some droplets there.. as I traced the tube back to the generator, it separated/split at one of the tie wraps….yellowed, brittle with age I guess.
Hopefully the solution is simply replacing the line.
