At Brown Bear Car Wash, I pay for the premium service and get a clean and shiny car. Is there a Wash & Wax solution I could add to the pressure washer to get a similar result on the above water portion of the boat hull working in the driveway.? I see Lowes has "Sun Joe, Slick Products - Wash + Wax 64 oz | Pressure Washer Chemicals" for $45. Sounds unpretentious and functional. Maybe someone has a favorite.
If it's not shiny to being with it won't get shiny with a simple wash and wax product. I had my poor 98 290 cut and polished a few years ago to get rid of the ghost strip that was on the side from the PO removing the decal some time ago and the sides still look fantastic. They still clean up very well with a boat wash and wax product. the only area that needs another buffing/polishing is around the HVAC water exit.
I'll try the Armor All product as that stuff always made the dash and tires glisten. Gain with pain may come with exercise but I'll pass on boat waxing and buffing.
Most pressure washers are not designed to be run on hot water. Not a great idea if you plan to keep the pressure washer for more than a single use.
The water from a hot water heater won't bother it at all. I do it all the time now steam is a different story
I have yet to figure if we are being punked here. Plywood over a bowrider, headlights on a boat, wondering why a wet cell battery is dead when water is almost gone.
Well it is pretty amazing that one person can be that far off on things. I guess it's possible, but why would someone go through that much trouble to do that? But then again, why would someone actually think putting Armor All in a pressure washer would make a boat shine ... He is posting pictures however ...
