Will this winter ever end

I just bought a 1979 Sea Ray weekender, my first Sea Ray. All I want is the river to thaw so I can get it wet.

Congrats on the boat...I'm going down to mine to have drinks with my neighbors. That's going to be my boating fix for the week. Warming trend this weekend maybe I can make it to the fuel dock and back

Yep we have a warming trend this weekend as well. It is supposed to get above zero for two days in a row. My fear is that with all the snow the river will be flooded until mid summer.

I'm wondering if any one would know that kind of range I should be getting if keeping boat on plane. It has a 65 gal tank a Ford 5.8352 Winsor Engine. If any one has any ide how hpg/nmpg/miles on one tank I should get? I don't even know how to begin caclulating it. It doesn't have a flow meeter.
