Had to remove mine a while back (340DA) and it was held in place with the plastic "christmas trees". I think I used a metal spatula and pried GENTLY to get it out. Since I didn't break any of the "trees", was able to pop it back in with no problem. Can anyone tell me how I can remove the trim panel on the inside of the radar arch? See attached photo.
May I ask why you want to remove it? I have to replace my VHF Antenna and I was thinking all I needed to do was remove my speaker and the side panel next to the helm seat. Can anyone tell me how I can remove the trim panel on the inside of the radar arch? See attached photo.
Granted I have the 340 but suspect 320 is very similar. I seem to remember there was some sort of bulkhead and there was a gob of sealant around the existing wires. Since you have to "reach around your ass to get to your elbow", I gave up and drilled a new hole, ran my cable, and resealed. You'll probably need a fish tape as well.May I ask why you want to remove it? You will need access to fish the wires down through where the arch meets the boat and then on to the helm.May I ask why you want to remove it? I have to replace my VHF Antenna and I was thinking all I needed to do was remove my speaker and the side panel next to the helm seat.
Thank you! If I damage the "christmas trees" can I just replace them or are they integral to the trim piece?Had to remove mine a while back (340DA) and it was held in place with the plastic "christmas trees". I'm looking to remove because I'm getting water in my radar arch and want to take the grab rail off, seal and replace, top bolt is easy through the speaker bottom not so much.May I ask why you want to remove it? They can be replaced. Auto parts places (Autozone, Pep Boys, etc) should have them.Thank you! If I damage the "christmas trees" can I just replace them or are they integral to the trim piece?
I use wd40 or silocone spray.
I use 3M silicone grease, it tends to stay in the threads...
Thank you!
Another question!!!
When on the hook and playing the radio, how should I have my batteries configured (switches)?
The best way to lubricate the sea cocks is to use the silicone, and also exercise them. I’m still working on mine trying to get them freed up, they are frozen in the open position.Newbe question here but after reading my owners manual it says to clean and lubricate the seacocks. What type of lubrication do you I use?
Keep all battery switches on. If you hear a beep every 60 seconds or so, go put your ear next to the CO detectors, they will beep if the voltage is low. If you encounter this, crank up the generator, and turn on the AC Converter, this will charge the batteries. If the generator will not start, try the engines, you might have to use the emergency switch to start one of them.
My old batteries would only last part of the day or half at the end. Now that I have AGM batteries from Duracell, they last all day and probably two if I needed it.

Second this questions, take it yours is leaking over the forward birth?I know this has been approached before but I haven't seen an answer, the gasket for the center vent window has anyone found a good solution to replace???
I'm speaking of the center vent within the windshield, it's leaking and running around the inside of the dash and draining out the side. I'd like to replace it but don't want to remove until I have an idea what to replace it with.Second this questions, take it yours is leaking over the forward birth?
