Keep Track of Rising Prices

I thought political posts were not allowed here. Would be nice to keep this stuff out of the forum.
 
A member that's too chicken to use his regular handle I'm sure... Sad. Don't like the topic? Instead of looking away they have to stifle freedom of speech.

Who is stifling free speech? This is a boat forum. Plenty of places on the internet to go to shout about politics or your beliefs. I’m not making up the rules, just suggesting they be followed. You obviously don’t care about the rules.

First off this is the Tiki bar, like going down to the local pub and having a pint and discussing current events. Skip it if it bothers you that much.

Second this directly affects me and most of us as boaters. It is a boating issue.
I don't know your budget but mine is tight. Fortunately I do all my own repairs because I know how. I buy a lot of second hand components and eBay bargains. Some things have to be bought new and they are getting expensive and long lead times.
Fuel is something I cant make myself, I could only afford half as many weekends this year compared to last. I dread next year if prices keep going this way, it will be a summer sitting on the hook...

It literally says “no political posts” at the top of the thread. That’s not my rule but I would think we would all respect the rules of the forum to keep it civil. You can talk about gas prices without posting offensive pictures and memes about our politicians. You can have an intelligent dialogue about gas prices without personal attacks on our leaders.

If you can’t have an intelligent debate on a policy driven by a variety of micro and macro trends without resorting to grade school memes I can’t help you
