In my best Bahstin accent, wicked good scowahs!
While waiting to meet the seller for a generator I bought, I looked at the local Phily marketplace listings for S&Gs. Found a complete Bennett trim tab set up for $100 so I said what the heck. He ended up giving me a Furuno radar also. It needs cords. How big a deal is that? Looks to be mid 90s vintage. Furuno 1621 display and Furuno RSB-0060 closed array. I figured it'll at least be fun to play with if cords aren't too bad to source. I've seen new power cords for the display for $90... Not sure it's worth it? What about the array cord? Are they interchangeable between other domes at all?
Last, but definitely not least... The reason for the 10+ hr drive round trip. 2002 Westerbeke 5.0 bcg. 84 hours. Runs and works. $600.00!!! Original owner rarely used it and when he had the engines overhauled a couple years ago, they pulled the genset and didn't bother having it reinstalled. It was "in the way" in the bilge. I'm psyched! Super nice guy. Had it socked away in a storage unit.
I'm on vacation next week. Guess what just got added to the vaca to do list lol I need to find a muffler. My boat is already wired for it.
