The Secret Service doesn't publish the costs associated with this service. They are pretty thorough, they even kept people on site at Reagan's ranch after they quit going there.

So my guess is the golf cart rental falls under that umbrella as he does play a lot of golf. Early in his political career there were complaints that he cheats. Not sure if they are true or just tongues wagging.

Right. The Clinton's planned to charge the Secret Service rent, but relented when it became public and there was a large backlash. Instead they got paid more than any ex-first family in history through the Former President's Act to supplement their foundation. They got their money, just went another route.

You are so wrong about this. Two of us have stated over and over anyone but Trump and we would vote for them. Trump can't beat Biden. I said that back in 2019 even bet a guy on here that is no longer here as a result of that bet. The fringe voters won't vote for Trump.

You really want to perpetuate that lie. There is no way Clinton could have even asked for rent, none.

As to Trump, he is in a different position. They need golf carts to follow all the golf playing xPresidents so they rent golf carts. In Trump's case and only Trump's case they are renting from the xPresident.

The point that has been raised about Trump's situation is that he has demanded prices that wouldn't be paid to other providers. As I mentioned when he was in office he charged the government 5 times the rate that was allowed. Again because it is in his hotels. In all other hotels secret service pay less than $200 per room. I don't know if they paid what he asked of not.

The xPresident foundations and libraries are funded by private donations. I have no idea what you are alluding to when you wrote "they (clintons) got paid more". Did they get more donations? What? Clinton has donated the largest number of documents to his library. I believe Reagan has the largest building.

Clinton was broke when he left office. Over the next 10+ years he made $100,000,000 from speaking fees. Hillary also made speeches. I think they performed over 700 times, for $200,000 per speech.
