Trump's campaign promises, he said he would be too busy serving the country to play golf. He didn't think he would ever see Doral, because he would be making deals unlike Obama.

In Trump's first year he was somewhere in a country club 100 days. Obama was criticized a lot more than Trump for golf and he played 333 rounds of golf over 8 years.

Tough for me to sleep on planes. We fly out at 5pm and land at 6am……. By the time I sleep, I’ll have to wake back up.

President Biden, Obama and Clinton are respected throughout the world. They are respected in the US where people look at accomplishments. The right wing, of US political parties, is the only place that President Biden, Obama and Clinton face ugly derogatory opinion and behavior.

You can tell from this thread. President Biden who is an easy target faces mainly innuendo. I, who am a neophyte, at political research and discourse can easily point out the ridiculousness of your arguments. Often, I hope that I'm wrong and that someone will have competing information. Which leads to responses of blustery, name calling, slurs and not much else except from Woody, he I respect.

I was watching a comedy special the other night from the 90's and part of it was making fun of Trump and his business acumen. I didn't realize that he was ridiculed that far back.

Thanks for the Former Presidents Act. Earlier I denied using AI but I think all search engines are optimized by AI now. So I'm changing my answer to yes, I do use AI. I do meander but I only address subjects you introduce.

I saw what you meant when I looked up the Former Presidents act. The only year I found that broke out the costs had him behind BushJr and just ahead of Bush Sr. I agree with you the Former Presidents Act needs to be eliminated.

Biden is being openly mocked on TV in foreign countries, that's not respect. Russia invaded Ukraine on Biden and Obama's watch, again not respect. What the muslims are doing to Israel and on the Red Sea, not respect. Clinton?....Blue dress.

As to Trump, he is in a different position. They need golf carts to follow all the golf playing xPresidents so they rent golf carts. In Trump's case and only Trump's case they are renting from the xPresident.

The point that has been raised about Trump's situation is that he has demanded prices that wouldn't be paid to other providers. As I mentioned when he was in office he charged the government 5 times the rate that was allowed. Again because it is in his hotels. In all other hotels secret service pay less than $200 per room. I don't know if they paid what he asked of not.

The xPresident foundations and libraries are funded by private donations. I have no idea what you are alluding to when you wrote "they (clintons) got paid more". Did they get more donations? What? Clinton has donated the largest number of documents to his library. I believe Reagan has the largest building.

Clinton was broke when he left office. Over the next 10+ years he made $100,000,000 from speaking fees. Hillary also made speeches. I think they performed over 700 times, for $200,000 per speech.

Oh boy, here goes....there most certainly was a way for Clinton to ask for rent, why wouldn't there be. It is a standard arrangement that the Secret Service provide payment to homeowners for space used by the agency in such situations.

It is not true that in all other situations the secret service always pays less than $200/nite. The Secret Service must stay close enough to those it protects in order to be able to protect them. If that means a room exceeds the standard per diem they still have to do their job, their agency can OK costs that exceed std per diem. A hotel does not have to accept the per diem rate.

The Clintons were not broke when Bill left office, that's fake news. The Clintons had millions in assets, what's true is that they also had a lot of debt.

You mean like when the Germans laughed at the UN when he said they were making a mistake relying on Russian natural gas? They're not laughing anymore. The "press" in foreign countries? They don't matter here. Nobody invaded anybody while Trump was President. That's all the respect he needs from you foreigners.
