I have a 2004 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer With the engine and generator exhaust ports that are moulded/built into the hull with no actual thru hull fittings to remove. They are quite unsightly with chipped and damaged gel coat.
Inside the bilge is a long tube that runs from the hull to which the exhaust hoses are connected. In other words it isn’t a flush fitting, it is actually a long moulded tube moulded into the hull.
Has anyone modified their engine and generator exhaust moulded thru hulls to replace with stainless steel thru hull units such as Southco?
Or does anyone know of a stainless steel ring that could be fitted to the outer hull over the exhaust holes to improve the look?
I am just in the process of ordering replacement SS thru hulls for the other white plastic thru hulls so was hoping to also modify the exhaust ports too.
Many thanks for advice and help on this.
