AC maintenance

I used a vacuum to clean off the dust and dirt and then coil cleaner and a water bottle to wash the coils after leaving it soak a few minutes. Then for just maintenance on the drip pan and sump box I add a few AC tablets which dissolve and keeps everything slime free.

Access can be a PITA. I had to remove the back wall in the aft cabin to gain access to the coils

Ours are pretty easy to remove. I take them out once a year and clean coils with coil cleaner and rinse with dock water.

To keep the slime at bay, we use Pine Sol (sent of your choice, we use Tropical). Poor enough into drip pan so that it goes out the drain hose. Let sit for half hour or so, then rinse with tap water. Cleans it up real nice and leaves pleasant scent. Also do the same for shower sump, just poor down the shower drain.

Hi there,
what coil cleaner product did you use? I would like to clean condenser on the outside, there is so much junk in it and it makes the whole boat smell.
