I didn't realize you are located there, I thought you were much closer to Seattle. I spent the last 4 months off and on business in Spokane so I could have driven down and had an adult beverage with you and GW!! If our engagement gets extended I be sure to email you about getting together.
Glad to hear the seller finally came to his/her senses and you will get the boat.:smt021 I too am in the mist of purchasing a used boat but no third party is involved since the broker owns the boat and is completely ethical. Good luck with you beautiful new boat, I should say yacht!:smt038
Where did you mount the plate?
It must be states starting the letter "A" are more boater friendly because here in AZ if I document the boat I am about to buy, then I do not need to register it with the state at all as confirmed by phone this morning with the Fish and Game Dept .:smt038
Bill,
My cocktail cruise speed in my old 320 was 7.5 mph on the GPS burning 5 gph which is what the Admiral preferred to being on plane. In my Chaparral, with its shorter length and single engine, cocktail cruise speed is only 6.3 mph burning 2.5 gph or half of what my old 320 with twins...
It has to be a whiskey day somewhere in the world today so there's a Maker's Mark Manhattan with my name on it waiting to be served sometime later today!!:smt043
I posted the results of my switch to 4 blades in this thread 4 years ago.

I'm a bit late to the party but Scott's advice about stern in vs. bow in is a good one. I am assuming you have V drives or straight shafts. My last instructor had me face the stern with my back to the throttles/shifters and dock that way (my 320DA). Your sight lines are much better and after...
No offense taken because there is no open water here that would allow for extended cruising like in the ocean or Gulf. The bigger boats here are pretty much dock queens.
BTW Frank W I saw a picture in the news this morning of a Florida license plate with ice on it in Fort Walton. Better get...
Sorry for your loss. But like Scott, we took pre-emptive action 2.5 years ago when we got our Chihuahua to provide a buddy for our then 8 year old Corgie and 10 year old Great Pyr mix. We had to put the latter down a little over a year ago and our Corgie, grieved as we did, for almost four...
An older Sea Ray 310 just moved into the slip next to me a few weeks ago and replaced a 20yr old can boat so the neighborhood has definitely improved!!:smt038 That is the only SR on my dock but there are a few more 320/340's on the other docks. Marine Max in Tempe needs to up their game.
Sorry guys, under the ABA, you are going to need far more owner's of young healthy boats like me to offset the cost of taking care of older not so healthy boats like many of yours. But then what incentive do I have to pay 2 to 5 times my annual maintenance cost to support you guys when all I'd...
GFC,
The Admiral I got tried to drive to Tortilla Flats and ended up at Roosevelt Lake. We saw a sign for TF on the road around the dam but when we looked at the narrow road plus the headwalls so we chickened out and turned around. The views I have at Bartlett Lake are almost as spectacular as...
