Hey Guys...
Funny to see this thread because I was just about to ask some questions about trailering my 300da. I boat on the rivers of PGH and would like to tow my boat down to Longboat Key, FL for the winter. It's a long haul about 1200 miles but I am going to use my F350 and take my time...
Hey guys,
I have an 03 300 and I was wondering if I need a CDL to trailer my boat in PA? I was also wondering if there were any trailer shops around here you could recommend? Would I be able to pull my boat with a 1500 and a fifth wheel or should I look into HD?
Ok. I'm trying to find the following things for my boat. Does anyone have any suggestions as the best place to look other than ebay?
1. A trailer
2. Forward Aft cushion
3. Captains chair cushion
4. A fighting chair that will fit where my table is
Thanks
Aaron
QUESTION
I am off shore power and flip the breaker for the blower. Should it kick on right away or only when I press the button at the cockpit. For some reason I thought it kicked on with the breaker, but at the end of the season it was not on unless I hit the button at the cockpit...just...
I have the 6.2's in my 300 and like it was said above I don't believe it can really be overpowered. i jump right on plane with 8 people in the boat it doesn't really seem to matter..just my last time out last year I had 8 people in the boat and one skier and it was still no problem.
It...
sounds pretty good..i'd like to work on that this year because its kind of pain to worry about needing assistance...nothing better than have a compadre, but not always possible...I too leave my lines secured to the dock, how many other lines do you usually carry on board? Right now we only have...
Yeah doesn't sound like fun trying to lock thru by myself...plus the guys at our locks are not very pleasent..not that I would be either, but either way it could be a real chore
I am that guy that is not nearly as good at docking from different directions...It took me most of the latter part...
How do you do it? I am fairly confident in my ability to dock in most conditions with a first mate to jump off and run the spring line...however I don't know how I would feel about docking by myself or going through the locks by myself
anyone?
