Did you get this done? I'm thinking of having it done on an SPX 230 I'm having built. The diamond ceramic vantage protection. They say its good for 5 years and will reduce/eliminate the need for waxing the exterior in addition to protecting the interior. I can't find much on the subject.

Great idea, I hope this threads gains traction. We got our first boat last year and loved it. We went from a 2003 SRX 185 to awaiting our 2021 SPX 230. Didn't spring for the Bravo III but stoked about the 4.5 at 250HP compared to the old 4.3 at 190HP. Congrats and have fun.

Thanks to everyone for the advice and information. I have a bitter sweet ending to this tail. I ended up selling the boat I had hoped to have for years to come do a fraction of what I thought I would BUT I am upgrading to an SPX 230 so there is a silver lining.

So far it’s just early talk with the mechanic I went to outside of AC, NJ. Not sure where he’s getting it from but looking online most are sold out or going for $7-9k

Sorry to hear about your luck but I’m leaning towards new or cutting losses and seeing what the feasibility of the upgrade the wife wants might be. Appreciate the advice.
