Brian,
To be honest I have never had luck finding what I was hoping for - an old one on the hard to access to buy/strip parts. I guess reality is to no surprise many of these are just still in service. I know they only made 69 of the 355T I have. I don't know how many of the ACs that you have...
All,
Is there anyone on this thread still active. I am looking to get engine spec information for my Sea Ray 355 T
Max RPM for 454/350?
Prop size and pitch?
I am not making 20 knots @2900 RPM
Max speed at WOT?
Thanks
Charles
I know this is a very old message but hope you will see an reply. We also have new to us a 1982 355T with 454s. Can you let me know what your max WOT RPM are? Can you let me know the size and pitch of your four blade prop?
The boat was repowered from V6s before we bought it and I do not...
That is my next check where my shore power comes in at the rear starboard side of the boat. Should be fully visible as power connection drops down to bilge area by the generator then runs up the starboard side to the bow.
Thanks and makes sense.
So now that she is uncovered and we got in for some work I found out it is not behind the electric panel board. I guess I will work my way back. Any chance it is back close to where the shorepower comes in? I will be getting in back there soon to do some cleaning in the bilge as the engine is out.
We just got good news that the port engine can be re-built! So getting that process started. Better than having to buy a whole new big block! So nice and a little funny when an expenditure of a big sum of money makes you happy because it was much better than the alternative much larger sum of...
I am trying to find a location for parts boats for an early 1980s (1982-1986) 360 AC or 355T. There were only 69 of the 355T manufactured but I do not know how many of the AC's produced but believe it was many more of that model.
Any suggestions?
Does anyone know prop servicing businesses in CT area?
I need my props for 1982 355T inspected and overhauled. They show no specific damage in terms of bending, cracks or chips. Just normal wear and they have been running smoothly given the age of the boat.
I got a quote of $200-300 per...
For a general question.
Does anyone know a good place to get scrap or yard parts for a boat like this? Or reliable replacement parts. As an example I need a new ladder for the swim platform and it is hard to find a replacement and not easy to fix. Questions like those drive me crazy. And...
Wow you have done a lot to her. All that in one season?
We have replaced the flooring, re-done all interior cushions and soft goods, re-furnished, removed one of the built in fold down units on the port side, lots of cleaning.
We had more exterior paint work on the hull than expected but...
We are in the process of updating/refurbishing as we use her. Last year per the #1 captain we updated creature comforts to make staying the night better. All primary systems currently work with some noted points that need attention. The port engine is out for a winter rebuild after an...
