    Finally got to the last two stainless thru hulls for the air conditioning units. Took the cabinet drawers out in the stateroom and could see it but couldn’t get to it. Had to take out the whole cabinet. And there she was. And dassit

    Such a small amount of carpet it’s not that expensive. Just the floor was around 600 recently. Plus install. Another 600. The first time was a bear stripping the old stuff off with the factory glue. The second time was easier. Hatches needed to be trimmed. Those wood floors are beautiful, but...

    I changed out both the sidewall and flooring. I had a carpet guy that did my homes. This is the second time. I doesn’t last too long I got maybe 6-7 years out of it. I don’t like the runners. Wood scratches. Carpet feels and looks warmer to me.

    One of my winter upgrades is replacing the cabin steps with teak. Shout out to global shipwrights, a forum sponsor, keeping me informed on the progress. I was the first to template the stairs. Fascinating to see the cad design and how they are made.
