I installed a 3000 watt inverter utilizing the bow thruster batteries. Put the Xantrex unit under the port stateroom bed. Put the remote monitoring panel up below the salon carbon monoxide detector above the electrical panel. Went with the 24 volt unit. Have all 110 volt hooked into it...
I have the exact same issue... 2003 480 Sedan Bridge. Happens with the salon AC duct work. Leave boat for week and show up on weekend to black foam particles all over the couch and table. Like the idea of a filter, but need to figure out how to take off cabinet structure around the duct work.
Called SeaRay and was told the porthole window is Bomar's part number S516-6SS-LS. Called Bomar (603-826-5791) now owned by Pompanette Group and they said most likely it is the gasket that has failed and leaking. Took off the retaining ring on inside of porthole and sure enough the leak is not...
Anyone re-bed the oval port holes in the state rooms or heads? Have multiple ones showing signs of leaking. Couple have the dog ears broken off. Looks like the water is coming in from around the frame and not the window gasket material leaking. Any tips? Thanks. Dave

I believe the drain hose comes from the overflow of the drain sump in the center hall way. This is the sump that all the showers and sinks drain into, then overboard. If the pump malfunctions and does not pump, the overflow will drain into that bilge area.
Noticed this past weekend I have quite a bit of water gathering in the aft bilge area around the port rudder. Boat still on hard and have seen a ton of rain. I could see drips coming in from what I am guessing is the rubrail meeting the transom area and the vertical caulked seem of the transom...
I have a zinc on the crossover pipe. Not sure why you do not. I can tell you that the zinc is never used up and i move it down to the bottom one as those get used up each season. I also only have the one zinc for the gear cooler.
I also have installed the dual gauge to monitor both engines' EGT. Pretty straight forward. hardest part was snaking wires up to the helm. Use port on riser after turbo. Had removed old Clarion round remote control from helm and replaced with gauge. Used dual gauge by ISSPRO.
