The challenge on the Weekender I have is that the fill/cap is on a vertical surface, not flat. One slip and the cap is gone! My other fill still has the chain attached to that coat hanger/spring device that goes down the fill and catches on a lip. That's the part I am looking for.

My hatch has been retrofitted, and there is no latch, which allows water to come in. Does anyone know if they are still available? I saw one on another WE and it looked to be fiberglass, same color and pebble texture as surrounding deck with a knob to latch tight.
