I hope that what I am saying isn’t coming across as that or that your referring to me, I am completely for the least expensive thing to get the job done but with a job dependent on having a connection at all times while working I couldn’t take a chance at not having something work.
We have had...
I wish I could get rid of the direct t v but since I live on the boat it is my only source of t v, I get I could stream stuff but that has a cost to it as well.
Working remotely has its advantages and the mobile packs you talk about are horrible even at our marina let alone while traveling or at other marinas or out on the hook.
Installing starlink gen 3 on the hardtop so I don’t have to worry about connection at our marina or others when traveling.
Will post pics when complete.
Has anyone done this?
Sorry I should of stated that before but now that we have the dinghy I know we will go to a place or two with that, Joe said he had a spot close to marina that is perfect for smaller boats to get into.
I do think it’s going to be a rough year for lots of boaters getting into places or traveling...
Seems like a bit of dredging around a few areas earlier, MacRay, cabana blue canal, I’m sure there a few others but just wondering what is going to be everyone’s area of choice for restaurants/bars this year.
Bumpers and crews nest is always a good option.
Thank you for clarifying that and I appreciate that, guess it comes down to what is going to suit us best.
I live on the boat so time will tell which is best option.
Thanks again
Thank you for all that, I purchased the starlink gen 3 and am installing in the hardtop of my 2000 510 it thought I would have to pay for you tube tv which was similar to what I’m paying for direct t v. Guess I’ll have to look into the streaming stuff if it’s free with the starlink subscription...
