I have a 2009 280 SD with twin 5.0's. I am not sure why you can't get over the 4700 RPM. I have turn 5030 RPM's trimmed out on a smooth lake at 47 MPH. Now I haven't check that speed out on a GPS but will this summer.... She does get up and go...

I brought a Extreme bilge heater.... How can I run the power cord from the engine bay to the 110 outlet at the helm. I don't want to hard wire it... I thought about drilling a hole and running the cord that way. I can't close the engine bay with the power cord running out of it!!!! Help!!! lol
