Thanks for the replies. I did mean vortec 4.3.

I bought a 95 175br. The 4 banger was replaced with a vtech v6. Bored out with roller rockers & 4 barrel. It hauls butt. Where are the engine numbers to find out what year it is. To buy any replacement parts I need to know the year. Thanks for your help.
