    Thank you to all for your appreciated suggestios.. Finally, after 1/2 day I got it out with doing any damage.. My solutions was all of the above, little heat, juice, double nut, etc.. "Boats' sometimes you love them other times you say why don't I take up golfing?? Hank

    Today i was attempting to winterize my 260hp, Merc as I was removing the thermostat housing bolts and one broke off.. The good news is that there is approx 3 inches exposed. I tried several different vise grips, no luck.. Any suggestions... PLEASE Hank

    Thank You.... at one time I thought it may of been an after market install.. But, a second look tell me otherwise.. Bad design, especially if you trailer the rollers can be damaging.. Now would you happen to know how i can get this piece?

    Thanks for your comment,, but i probably did a poor job explaining it.. It is a tube that is flanged with a slotted neck that the speedo insert slides in to and locks. I believe this tube is either cracked or the flange seal is leaking. Before, i attempt repair I would prefer to have...
